MAMA BEAR SEVIKA
Sevika x kid!reader Headcanons
Synopsis: Here are a few headcanons for Sevika if she was a mother. (Similar to her role with Jinx and Isha)
Tumblr media
Protective 24/7:
✧ If anyone so much as looks at her kid funny, Sevika’s already glaring them down, rolling her shoulders like she’s ready to throw down. It doesn’t matter if it’s a stranger or someone she knows—she’ll have no patience for disrespect toward her child.
✧ “Talk to my kid like that again, and you’ll be picking your teeth up off the floor.”
Tumblr media
Firm, But Loving:
✧ Sevika isn’t the kind of mom to coddle; she’s the type to prepare her kid for the harshness of the world, especially growing up in Zaun. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t love deeply, she just shows it in her actions more than words.
✧ She’ll push them to be strong but always knows when they need her to soften up. She might ruffle their hair with her metal arm or gruffly say, “You did good, kid,” but her love is clear in every glance.
Tumblr media
Cooking Attempts:
✧ Is Sevika a good cook? No. Does she try for her kid? Absolutely. And while her attempts at meals might lean more toward “burnt offerings,” her child will never have an empty stomach because she makes up for it by bringing home the best street food Zaun has to offer.
✧ “We’re eating dumplings tonight. Don’t complain, you love dumplings, kid. I said, don’t complain! Oh sweet fucking—“
Tumblr media
Bedtime Stories:
✧ Sevika might grumble about it, but if her kid asks for a story, she’ll make up some dramatic, larger-than-life tale. Half the time, it’s clearly inspired by her own exploits, but her kid doesn’t mind, it’s Sevika, so the stories are always cool.
✧ “…And then the hero took down a whole gang of chem punks with nothing but her wit and one hand.”
✧ “Wow! That hero sounds like you, Mama!”
✧ “What a coincidence. Now go to sleep, kid.”
Tumblr media
Softer Side in Private:
✧ Sevika is tough as nails in public, but when it’s just her and her kid, she’s got a softer side. She’ll braid their hair, help them patch up scrapes, or hold them close when they’ve had a rough day.
Tumblr media
Tough Love Lessons:
✧ She teaches her kid how to defend themselves early on, insisting they know how to throw a punch and recognize danger. She might spar with them in the living room, pulling her punches but showing them how to handle themselves.
✧ “You hit like a chem rat, kid. Again.”
Tumblr media
Loyalty Runs Deep:
✧ Sevika is fiercely loyal to the people she cares about, and her kid is no exception. She’ll always have their back, even if she doesn’t agree with their choices. If her kid gets into trouble, she’ll drag them out of it, lecture them for hours, but never let anyone else lay a hand on them.
Tumblr media
Undeniable Pride:
✧ She doesn’t gush, but her pride in her kid is palpable. She brags in her own way—sharp comments to anyone who doubts them and subtle smirks when they accomplish something big.
✧ “Yeah, that’s my kid. Try to keep up.”
Tumblr media
Cuddles on the Down-Low:
✧ She’ll act like she hates cuddles, but her kid knows the truth. If they sneak under her arm while she’s relaxing after a long day, Sevika will grumble softly but ultimately let them stay. She might even throw a blanket over them with a resigned sigh.
✧ “Don’t tell anyone I let you do this, including your friends, mk?.”

Tumblr media
Living in Zaun wasn't easy. Especially when you had a child to take care of. At least you weren't alone anymore. It'd been years since the child's father left, barely even staying around for the delivery. Not that you cared. He was a piece of shit, anyway. And besides. You had someone who was a million times better than he'd ever been; Sevika. She kept you safe. She helped take care of your daughter, Laye. It was adorable. Watching someone as terrifying, muscular and tall as Sevika was play with a child.
You'd just gotten back home after a long shift down at one of the bars. Every muscle in your body was screaming for rest. Work wasn't easy, it never was. But it was one of the better jobs in this dump. "I'm home!" Your voice rang out through the apartment. Having gotten it with Sevika's benefits (aka Silco), it was nice. As nice as any place could be in Zaun. You heard the movement first. Before seeing your six year old daughter come running to you, followed by Sevika's large figure. Her head just barely missed the ceiling. With her being 6'1.
"Momma!!" Your daughter jumped into your arms and you grunted, holding her close with a sigh. Kissing her forehead that she rested on your shoulder.
"Hi, baby." You murmured, idly stroking her back. "Were you good for Sevika?" You asked, Sevika didn't miss the exhaustion in your tone. Or the way your face scrunched up when you daughter jumped in your arms. She couldn't help feeling impressed by you. Being able to work long days in a crowded, rowdy bar and then come home and have to be a mother to your daughter. Not getting much rest between it all. Definitely didn't sound easy. Especially since she now knew what parenting was like, having gotten to experience it with Laye.
"Yeah!!" Laye smiled, snuggling up to you. Completely nose blind to the bar smell that lingered on your clothes. As it did every day when you got home. You looked up to Sevika for confirmation and she gave a subtle nod. The soft look in her eyes was more than enough to convince you, she didn't even need to nod.
"That's good." You sighed quietly, placing a quick kiss to Laye's cheek. Getting a giggle out of her. You knew with your exhaustion, you wouldn't be able to stand and hold her at the same time. Laye was getting a little too big for that. Sevika seemed to notice, wondering why you were on the ground for so long before she put it together. Sevika bent down to one knee, non prosthetic arm gently touching Laye's back. There was a gentleness to her that wasn't often seen by anyone. You loved having the privilege to see it.
"Laye, let's let your mother rest." Sevika's voice comes out with a husk to it, but gentler than her usual tone. Obviously not wanting to give Laye any reason to be upset or fear her. However there was still a sense of command to it. Trying to get the little girl away. Even if just for a moment so you could get in.
"Noooo!" Laye whined, burying herself into you. You frowned a bit and tried not to immediately hold her. It was hard not to just wrap your arms around her and hold her tight. You knew Sevika was right; cause you desperately needed a moment.
Sevika's eye twitched and you knew she was trying not to let her emotions get the best of her. Reminding herself that this was a kid, not some punk that she could yell at. Plus she wasn't just any kid. She was your kid.
"Baby..." You took a moment to think on it. What could convince her to let go of you? "Hey, you got that new tea set. Right? How about you see if Sevika will play with you?" You suggested, which seemed to get your daughter to just light up. Meanwhile Sevika's eyes widened when she looked at you. You could tell she wasn't overly thrilled, the soft red of her cheeks giving her embarrassment away. You tried not to laugh, giving her a silent promise that you would make it up to her later.. she caved at that. Knowing exactly the kind of promise you had in store.
"We could have a tea party!! Wait but Seviki you no have a dress." The girl pouted at 'Seviki', which was what Laye had taken to calling Sevika. Sevika gritted her teeth, realizing she would have to figure out a solution so your daughter was happy. The things she does for you...
"Uh.." Sevika looked around the room, spotting a blanket and walking over. It wasn't super colourful or anything but she could make it work. She wrapped the blanket around herself in a way that covered her chest but left her shoulders out. "How's this? You can pretend it is a dress."
Laye's eyes lit up and she giggled," okay!!! You look silly, Seviki." She laughed. Sevika rolled her eyes and gave you a look before walking to the dining room with your daughter. You held back a laugh, trying desperately not to laugh at your poor girlfriend who looked utterly unhappy. Her in that blanket though was absolutely adorable. The blanket barely went past her knees, as it was meant to cover you. Not her. And you can tell behind all the grumpiness, she really did like hanging out with Laye. Otherwise she wouldn't have put in the effort to make her happy.

hii! I love your bully!Sevika headcannons sm
what if she finds reader beaten up and on the brink of death in some long forgotten alley one day?
and reader be like: came to finish me off, huh?
𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐘! 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐊𝐀
when someone touches what’s hers
WARNINGS: minor depictions of violence, mentions of abuse, implied power dynamics
from roselí. ᡣ𐭩 : anon this was suuuuch a good idea. i put my own little twist on it.
Tumblr media
It’d been a long day.
The usual hussle and bussle of the undercity; dealing with the volatile gang ordeals, organizing shipments of Shimmer, cleaning up after Silco’s blue haired mess, and of course getting into close details with Silco himself.
It’d been a very long day.
She would frequent the brothel in her free time, trying on different bodies everytime she went. It was a good detresser— a quick nut after a long day to really end the night right. If not there, she’d be found at the last drop, sipping slowly on brown liquor while she enjoys a few rounds of poker for a bet.
It helped, it did.
But nothing compared to her little plaything.
She’d make it her mission everyday to track down her favorite little target. Her lips always curled into a smirk at the thought of you— shy, fragile, and oh-so-easy to toy with. Hers to provoke, hers to corner, hers to dominate. It was the best stress reliever.
To finally have something to really sink her teeth into. Something to break slowly over time, all in her control. It felt nice to have control. To finally not be under someone’s wing. It was relieving to take out all that anger, all that sadness, every sadistic urge. It wasn’t anything personal, you’d just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
But today was different.
She didn’t feel that satisfaction as she navigates through the usual chaos—shouting vendors, the clatter of machinery, and the occasional muffled scream carried through the maze of alleyways. Sevika strode through it all like a storm given flesh, her mechanical arm glinting in the faint light.
The alley was dark, the harsh glow of Zaun's neon lights flickering erratically, but it was nothing compared to the storm brewing in Sevika's chest. Her boots echoed like thunder as she stormed down the narrow path, her anger a palpable force that crackled in the air. She had just gotten word that someone had beat her property to a bloody pulp.
She rounded the corner, her eyes scanning the scene. There, slumped against a dumpster, was her victim— bruised, bloodied, and barely conscious. Sevika's jaw clenched. Her heart, if she had one, seemed to twist in her chest. There was a flash of fury, and it took everything in her to restrain herself. Her fingers flexed, aching to crush the throat of whoever had dared to harm what was hers.
No one was allowed to lay a hand on her prey except for her.
You were crumpled on the ground, lip split, bruises blooming across your delicate skin. Blood trickled from your nose, staining your collar. You flinched as you tried to sit up, only to let out a pained hiss.
She marched toward you, boots echoing ominously in the alley. You peered up, eyes widening in fear as if expecting more punishment. Sevika crouched down in front of you, her jaw clenched so tightly it felt like her teeth might crack.
“Who the hell did this to you?” Sevika snarled, her voice like gravel, rough and dangerous. Her eyes scanned the surroundings, but there was no one in sight. She knelt in front of you, a hand gently— but possessively cupping your chin, lifting your face.
You stammered, trying to form words, but her sharp glare silenced them, “I said, who. Did. This.”
Her mind was a mess of confusion and rage. She wasn't supposed to care—not about you, not about the bloodstains on your clothes or the way your eyes barely fluttered open. But she did. She did, and it was making her sick.
"I-I don't know... They... they came out of nowhere. I didn't mean to... to make them angry..." You wheezed in a breath, “Why… did you come to finish the job?” You said, a little snarkily for someone in your position. Sevika's gaze darkened, lips curling into a snarl. "Why didn't you fight back?" she growled, as if the idea that you hadn't defended yourself was a personal betrayal. Her concern for your well-being was entirely overshadowed by her frustration that you hadn't done enough to prevent this from happening in the first place.
She wiped away the blood on your face with the back of her hand, not bothering to hide her disgust, "God, you're so pathetic," she muttered under her breath. "I told you to stay close, didn't I? This is why I tell you to stay put." She spat.
"You shouldn't have been here," Sevika hissed, her voice dangerously low, filled with venom. "You shouldn't have let anyone hurt you." She ran her thumb over your bruised cheek, but it wasn't the soothing gesture it appeared to be. It was possessive. Violent. "I should be the only one to do this to you."
It was daunting really, her way of thinking. How dare she? Stomping in here like she cared. Like she actually cared about your well being. Her concern was twisted—contorted into something dark, something dangerous. She wasn't concerned about your safety, your pain. She was concerned about how this made her look. How it threatened her claim on you. This was hers. You were hers. Goddamn it this was the only thing—!
Sevika's anger didn't fade. In fact, it boiled hotter now. How dare you go off and get yourself hurt like this? She had always been there to make you feel small, to bring you down to your knees, to remind you who you belonged to. But this?
This was your biggest show of audacity yet.
Sevika dragged you to your feet, her hands firm but rough. She forced you to meet her gaze, her eyes wild with fury. "Don't you ever let someone else touch you again. You hear me?" she spat, her voice thick with a possessiveness that bordered on madness. "You're mine to hurt, mine to break. No one else gets that privilege." She pulled you close, your battered body cradled against her. In that moment, there was no tenderness, only a suffocating, possessive need.
“But don’t worry,” she murmured, cracking her knuckles, “I’ll make sure they never even think about coming near you again.” Her smirk etched its way onto her face, sharper than ever. “But you? You and I still need to have a talk about how you let this happen.”
Without waiting for an answer, Sevika turned, already plotting how to make an example of whoever crossed the line. You sat there trembling and confused— you could only watch her disappear into the shadows, fearfully thinking of what that ‘talk’ would consist of.

Going to ramble for a bit but I hope we’ll get a Sevika backstory in season two or, at least, something about her family or values other than her loyalty to the cause. Arcane is all about family and, if I recall correctly, she’s the only character in Arcane who doesn’t have any familial ties (Viktor sorta has Singed, Heimerdinger sorta has the council and Piltover(??)… but Ig, if you think about it, Sevika has Zaun?) (But maybe later when she starts to mentor Jinx?)
Might go on a tangent here and ramble about some things and head canons but…
It kind of makes me wonder if Sevika wants to have a family of her own? Or, maybe, take the orphans roaming around the streets of Zaun under her wing? Maybe she could train and provide for them in ways her parents and society had failed to do. Zaun is all she has left, her family, and it’s one of the reasons that drives her to fight.
Blinded by her loyalty to Zaun’s liberation and independence, she leaves Vander, and chooses Silco, because Silco isn’t pliant to the enforcers’ whims and isn’t afraid to fight back. He doesn’t leave Zaun to bleed. She knows that sometimes it’s better to back down than fight, but Vander had to know when enough is enough.
She doesn’t let the repercussions of Silco’s actions and the effects of shimmer affect her. Even if guilt incessantly gnawed at her heart. You grow through suffering and sacrifices because it drives progress — that’s what she’s learned all throughout her life, when her father broke her nose and arm for being scared to throw a punch, when her mother taught her to nurse a broken bone and ask her to understand why her father did it, when she had to sacrifice her own youth because she had to fend for herself. This is good for them. The children of Zaun will learn. It’s also why, when she lost her arm, she doesn’t blame Jinx and her very idiotic makeshift monkey bomb. (Even if the little shit annoys the fuck out of her.) Her arm was just a small sacrifice to pay. If she hadn’t protected Silco, Zaun would’ve bled to death, and the topside would’ve never notice, continuing to dance over Zaun’s grave. It’s the least she could do, the least she could offer. She’d give her life, too, if she could. Anything and everything for Zaun.
It’s one step forward to freedom but two steps backward in civilization (because shimmer is shit and eats you from the inside out, but it’s what keeping her and Zaun alive, unfortunately) but it’s still progress and also a big fuck you to Piltover, and that’s what matters. She, Silco, and shimmer are necessarily evils. She starts to understand why her father was rough with her.
Anyway, on a sorta related note, do you ever wonder if Sevika sees herself and her father in Jinx and Silco, has thought of asking Silco to stop whatever mind games he’s doing with Jinx or to be gentle with her, at the very least (because she doesn’t know anything. Because she’s just a kid. A brat. She’s lost) but when she faces Silco all she sees is her father towering over her with the same disapproving and angry look that’s etched forever in her mind since she was five?
Also… what if, after everything has resolved and she’s done all she could for Zaun, she settles down and finally allows herself to prioritize herself and her happiness? She gets a small house, maybe somewhere in the forest. Finds herself a wife and two or three kids to adopt. But then, before she could achieve that she d—
It’s kind of all over the place but, um, please don’t mind me. I wanted to ramble about Sevika wanting a family but getting scared of having kids bc she doesn’t want them to go through what she experienced, and then it turned to this. Lol

This whole “guys Isha actually called Jinx mommy when Sevika was carrying her” is an interesting take to me. If you just watch the scene with subtitles at no point does she ever say mommy. Isha is nonverbal period. I just think it’s weird that her screaming and crying and trashing to try to get out of Sevika's hold so she can stay with Jinx while there’s a fucking bloodthirsty Warwick isn’t seen as an impactful or valid form of communication. Instead, people go straight to trying to put words in a mute kid's mouth because to so many verble speech is the only valid form of communication. Isha doesn't need to talk to make her love for Jinx known and she repeatedly takes action to protect her I think those moments are much more powerful and tell way more about her love for Jinx. Nonverbal people can still express love even if they can’t talk and idk why people feel the need to discredit all Isha did to express herself through nonverbal communication. Yes I know it’s not that deep but it’s just something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately ( this is coming from a girl with selective mutism btw)

Arcane missed a golden opportunity to have Silco do Jinx's hair onscreen. The sheer POWER of a moment where a parent takes care of their child's hair is second to none.
I'm not talking about some scene of idle hair brushing. I'm talking about showing Silco use a rough hand or a gentle hand with Jinx's roots. Does he let her squirm while she sits, or does he constantly adjust her head to the right angle?
Is he really bad? Does he learn to get better for Jinx? Jinx has an absurd amount of hair that SOMEONE has to invest time in to take care of, or maybe it's a team effort. There's so much they could do with it

I think... I think Jinx needs to bring Isha home. whatever remains of her. I think she needs to parallel Silco, in carrying her daughter, but the newfound self control Isha has given her, and the memories of the hell that was her resurrection and it's aftermath, will keep her from making her father's mistake. so she will carry her home and away from the chaos.
and I think Sevika needs to take her. like she had back in the prison. taking her and protecting her so Jinx can rage. and so she can drive and say goodbye, because that was her daughter too, in a way. she never said it allowed or made the conscious effort. but that was her girl.
she needs to parallel the last moment she had with Isha. she needs to show a softness and vulnerability that comes with a mother, older and wiser and more calloused by life, taking up the hard duty of accepting and tending the dead. her dead. her child.
she protects Jinx in this, by taking Isha away and out of sight. letting Jinx breathe. letting her crumble. without risking Isha's safety. Jinx will fight her and she will say "you trust me with her once, yeah? trust me again?", and Jinx will accept. she'll hand her over like she's handing over something made of the most fragile glass and tissue paper and cotton floss.
and then Sevika gets a moment alone. a moment to accept this. and then she, this character who has always been rough and tough and full of grit and spit, who has been strong and violent, by choice and by her circumstances, in almost every scene she has ever had, to be gentle and quiet and grieving.
burial is not a luxury that many Zaunites get, but Sevika will find a way to make do. she'll tend her girl, both of her girls, and they will give Isha rest and peace. but for a moment she just needs to stare down at the broken body beneath her and accept that this is real.
all those years of thinking one day she would lose Jinx, never getting attached, and yet it was the girl that gave her hope that she loses? she wasn't there to protect her? the own she truly accepted this time around, to ensure she didn't fail her like she failed Jinx, and she loses her the second she's out of her immediate grasp? she didn't get to say goodbye? she needs a second.
and then she'll be there for Jinx, and watch her crumble and break and lose herself.
and she'll have moments alone where she doesn't know what to do with the pain in her heart.
and they will think of their girl.
and that will be that.
it would bring their arc all the way around.
Jinx can and will go mad, but not when she could hurt her baby. Sevika will be gentle. they will be mother and daughter in their grief. because Isha changed them for the better.

harassing you at the bar
WARNINGS: bullying, harassment, degradation, humiliation, implied dacryphilia, slight violence. be safe, heed warnings!
from roselí. ᡣ𐭩 : THE AMOUNT OF ASKS FOR THIS. y’all are depraved… i’m here for it ^^
Tumblr media
The dim, oppressive atmosphere of The Last Drop seemed heavier tonight, or maybe that was just the weight of Sevika’s gaze boring into you from across the room. You’d been foolish to come back here— it wasn’t exactly a safe haven for someone like you. And Sevika? She’d made it her personal mission to remind you of that every chance she got.
You didn’t notice her approaching until her mechanical arm slammed onto the table, the impact making your drink slosh over the rim. You froze, feeling her looming presence before you dared to look up. You suppose now that thinking a secluded table in the corner would’ve been enough to conceal you was silly. She’d always had this weird sixth sense when it came to you— somehow always knew of your presence before you were made aware of hers.
“Still showing your face, huh?” she drawled, her voice dripping with mockery. “Maybe I’m not making myself clear enough.” You forced yourself to meet her gaze, but the smirk tugging at her lips made it hard to hold. She loved this, the little game where she chipped away at your composure like it was some cheap toy she’d grown bored of.
“I’m just here for a drink,” you muttered, closing in on yourself, voice quieter than you wanted it to be. “I’m not here to cause trouble,” you tried, but your voice cracked slightly under the pressure. She scoffed tilted her head, her sharp eyes scanning you from head to toe like she was appraising a broken machine. “No… you know better than that.”
Sevika smirked, sliding into the seat across from you. The motion was fluid and unnervingly casual, like she wasn't even trying to intimidate you-she just was. "You look worse than usual. Rough day? Or did you just wake up that way?"
Your chest tightened, but you kept your eyes fixed on the tabletop; you knew better than to rise to her bait. You tried to focus on your drink, anything to avoid meeting her gaze, but her sharp fingers grabbed the glass and slammed it back down on the table.
The ice rattled in the cup.
"Don't ignore me," she spat. "You're not that special."
The ice rattled in the cup.
Her presence loomed over you like a storm cloud, heavy and oppressive. You couldn't breathe with her so close, her mechanical arm casting shadows on your face as it clicked ominously beside her. She leaned forward, resting her chin in her human hand as her metal fingers tapped rhythmically against the table. “You’re pathetic.” She snarled, noting the way you avoided her eyes.
You clenched your fists under the table, trying to steady your breathing. "Why do you even care?" Her grin returned, wider, predatory now. "Care?" she repeated, her voice dripping with a mixture amusement and defensiveness. She sat up straight, towering over you and blocking out the flickering neon light behind her. "This isn’t about caring, idiot. It’s about entertainment.”
"Oh, you've got a drink," she said mockingly, plucking the glass from your hand before you could react. Her metal arm shot out, grabbing the edge of your drink and sliding it toward her. She held it up to the light, inspecting it like it was beneath her. "What is this? Some watered-down piss? Figures. Suits you."
"Give it back," you said, your voice low but trembling.
Her laugh was sharp and cruel. "Give it back," she mimicked, her tone dripping with condescension as she placed it back on the table. She sniffed it, then shoved the glass carelessly, the contents spilling onto the table with an exaggerated flourish. The room seemed to grow quieter, the other patrons glancing your way before quickly returning to their own business. No one in Zaun was going to stick their neck out for you.
“Oops,” she said flatly, her grin morphing into an ice gold glare. “That was unnecessary,” you said, your voice trembling despite your best efforts. Sevika’s expression darkened, and she leaned in so close you could feel the heat of her breath. “Unnecessary?” she echoed, her tone low and dangerous. “Let me make something clear: You might think your voice matters, but it doesn’t. Someone as weak and useless as yourself doesn’t get to decide what’s unnecessary.”
“I’ll tell you what is necessary though,” She offers, gesturing towards the spill on the table, “It’s necessary that you clean up your fucking mess.” It wasn’t a suggestion. You felt your blood boil, but you knew you couldn’t do anything about it. That just served to make you all the more irritated.
“But, I didn’t—” She raised a single eyebrow, a look that said: Are you questioning me? You heeded her warning, reaching over for the tub of napkins placed conveniently on the table.
The sting started slow, but it picked up rapidly, a feeling like fire washing over your cheek. You barely had time to register that she’d slapped you. “You should know better than that.” She spat, shoving your hand away from the napkins. “You think you deserve anything that dignifies you?”
You distinctly remember feeling small when she’d shoved your face into the table, your nose crashing onto the wood painfully. The drink was cold as it met your face, making your eyes sting as it slid through your eyelashes. Her grip in your hair was excruciatingly tight, your scalp burning where her hand held you. “This is how you deserve to clean up your mess. You lick it up.”
You physically grimace as she rolls your face around in your own drink, a choked sob finally rolling from your throat. The one you’d spent your own money on. The one you just wanted to sip slowly and enjoy.
You didn’t need to hear her snickering to know that she was, but you could.
You struggled to free yourself from her grip, but her fingers were like iron. She pulled your head up by your hair, dragging your face closer to hers, her words searing your skin.
"I could snap you like a twig if I felt like it," Sevika purred, her mechanical arm moving with precision as it hovered over your shoulder. "But no... that would be too quick. You don't deserve a quick end. No, I'll drag it out. I'll make you beg for mercy before I'm done with you."
The words twisted like knives in your gut, but you couldn't look away. Fear rooted you to the spot, and that made it worse. "You're lucky I don't find you too boring yet," she added, releasing your chin but running a finger down the side of your face. It was cold, and you flinched at the touch, but she didn't care. "Maybe you'll earn some of my respect. Maybe you'll fight back, or maybe you'll just keep looking at me like a lost puppy."
She took her free hand and smeared the drink over your face some more, "But probably not. You'll just keep letting me walk all over you. And I'll keep enjoying it." She turned to leave, offering you one last once over, her eyes glinting with what looked like satisfaction.
"Now," she patted your cheek, "Why don't you do yourself a favor and crawl back to whatever hole you came from before someone decides to make an example out of you?"

I completely agree that we needed more Sevika on the last two arcs, especially after they released a poster for her, but I also gotta admit that I love that she was added to the council.
And yes, she was definitely a diversity hire, but that doesn't mean she won't stand up to those snobs and fight for what Zaun deserves. We are talking about the woman who refused to hand over Jinx to Piltover, even after years of telling Silco that she was an unreliable loose cannon. The one that beheaded a guy for trying to make her commit a betrayal. Sevika is extremely loyal to Zaun, and nothing will change that.
I don't believe for one second that she will bow to the rest of the council. Oh no, she will give them hell and fight endlessly for Zaun, even fight to get more of her people on that table. She may be a diversity hire, but her voice will be heard whether they like it or not.
